Diamonds set in w-band...how big?

Hi

Some advise please! I want to have a custom amde wedding band with diamonds around the band evenly spaced in a "gypsy style setting", i.e. flush with the band. The band will be approsimately 3.7mm wide.

The vendor suggested using 10 diamonds and in his words : The diamonds will each weigh 2.5 points or .025pts.

Can anybosy tell me how big each diamond will be in millimeter? Anybody has an example of this? Is this a good size for a 3.7 mm band?

Yes it''s a good size. My promise ring is I believe 2.5 pointers (or 3 pointers) in a 3mm band comes kind of close to the edge but not quite.
