The sun is finally shining in my neck of the woods and I have noticed that my diamonds look whiter. I was wondering why I had a new love for my wedding set and they looked so white and sparkly. Alas, my hands are tan making the diamonds look whiter than they do in the winter when my skin is so white it is nearly transparent.

Has anyone else noticed this? Oh Happy Days!!

ITA, my I looked much much whiter on my darker skin than on my super-pale best friend. I have yellow undertones too, which masked the yellowy tint really well

It is wonderful when the sun shines. They sparkle so much and I''m not as pale!

My J looks pretty darn white on my tanned skin! I love it!

a nice side effect! :) too bad my best diamonds are on my ears.. not much luck of getting tanned lobes :)

alas.... I will not be electing to find this out for myself anytime soon....

It is a definite plus!!

Alas, I am perma-white and will never experience this joy.

In the sun I don''t so much tan as burst into flames.

Yes, definitely!

ok, so now I need a tan AND finger lipo to make my stones look bigger and whiter. Where will it end........

So the very bottom line-or the net net as my husband the MBA used to say- is that the fair skinned among us are less likely to look as if they are wearing colorless diamonds than people of color. Fascinating. Can we all

now resume our previously scheduled business?

Heck yeah!! Definitely loving this extra side effect of getting sunburned! I''m finally at the tan stage and my diamond is extra icy white!
