Stone-Cold, thanks for fixing my link !
I''m slightly concerned with the visual symmetry of the stone. On the idealscope image it looks like some arrows are shorter then others. Is it just my eyes ? it looks like ASET doesn''t show it. Also, it appears to be that this stone has two reports - DQD from Jan, 2007 with AGS 000 grading and DRD from April, 2009.
Oh, that is great !
The newer repot is posted with the stone. The older report is being ordered from AGS labs and sent to me by WF. It just happened that I was concerned by no cut grade information on the posted report and called AGS labs. This is when I got told that there was an earlier report issued for this stone. And it does contain cut info - AGS000 per AGS customer service.
WF representative called AGS and verified this info.
I don''t know the reason for two reports being issued for this stone, however I''m happy that it turned out to be an Ideal cut.
hmm... weird that they would send a stone to re-grade it.
Check if the weight is exactly the same, maybe it was slightly damage and send for a repolish, and it didn't get a AGS0 this time round so a DQR is generated. Not to scare you, just thinking out loud why they would do that.
OH, thanks for thinking out loud ! I will check it with WF. Plus i''ll have both reports on my hands and will be able to see and compare the measurements.
The size is exact the same on both reports - 2.240.
The stats on the new report (let''s suppose that it was issued after recuting) still fit into AGS000 grade.
Any suggestions what should I look for when comparing two reports and looking at the stone ?
Thanks a lot for your help !!!!
Its a gorgeous diamond, looks like the images are slightly tilted which is very common, could be an excellent choice. Could be various reasons and none of them at all sinister as to the reports, WF will be able to tell you more - just ask them rather than speculate.
Sorry, no idea what else to look for, so far everything looks good. WF might be able to tell you more if they are also the original owner of the stone when it has a DQD.
No speculations. From my experience with WF I can tell that they are very trustworthy and pleasant to work with company (and I won''t even start talking about how gorgeus their stones are).
Cannot wait to see the stone in person. I sent my 1.24 ering back to them, and it feels so empty without it.
Thank you for your kind responses I feel even better about my choice now.
I got the ring back from Whiteflash ! It''s the most amazing diamond I have ever seen. It dances under all kinds of lighting, even under direct sunlight where my ACA ( Had two ACA diamonds before this upgrade) just glowed.
Kudos for Whiteflash and their great ES diamonds ! I''m fan of 40.9 pavilion now
Will be back with hand shots.
