Hey everyone, I''m finally ready to make the big e-ring purchase. I''ve narrowed down what''s important to my gf, but need some advice on specific stones. In order of importance is size,cut,color,clarity. She liked a setting at excel diamonds, but their prices seem higher than JA for the diamond.


Carat: 1.8-2.1
Cut: Ideal
Color:G-I
Clarity(eyeclean): VS2-SI2
Budget(diamond only): ~12k

Are any of these decent stones? I''m open to new suggestions.

G SI2--No, crown too shallow

I SI2--Maybe, need Idealscope image for this angle combo

H SI2--Has possibilities based on numbers. IS would help

With any SI2, make sure to confirm with the vendor that they are eye-clean.
 
I''ve requested IS for both of these diamonds. I''ll post them soon. Any other diamonds worth considering?
