My brother's girlfriend lost her pearl earrings. He wants to replace them with a pair of diamond earrings in case she finds the pearls. I looked at recommended Pricescope vendors for diamond studs in this price range but don't see any (whiteflash, goodoldgold). Bluenile has a few that are 1/3 and 1/4 carat total weight.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I am sure he would also be interested in huggies (probably even more expensive) or other alternatives. If your boyfriend/husband had $300-400 for earrings, what would you want?

mmm i feel like you'll find a very hard time finding anything new for 300-400$
i mean, just the settings alone will run you $200.
here's a set from whiteflash that's just over the budget

0.25ctw 14k White Gold 3 prong "Martini" Diamond Earrings - (H/I-SI) $450.00

or if you don't mind pre-owned ones, keep an eye out for louptroop.
sometimes people sell their previously owned diamond earrings for cheap:

hope she finds those pearls.

I' wanna wait. I put money asid in an earring fund as I didn't want to settle

I absolutely agree with waiting. I think I'd wait until I could at least get .25-.30 cts per ear unless she is very young, such as a teenager.

I'd say 14k gold hoops would be a better idea if he wants to get her a nice pair of earrings. Save the diamonds for a big occasion and have some time to save more money.
