Diamond Studs and Diamond Pendant

Hello Everyone

I have been working on my collection of getting all the basics a girl should wear

Is it ok to wear a Diamond Solitaire Pendant that is bigger than Diamond Studs? I have a pair of my every day Studs that are 1ctw, I usually wear my diamond cross, dbty, diamond solitaire, and a few other diamond pendants with it. I recently turned a 2ctw diamond that I inherited into a bezel pendant, but was not sure if that was ok to wear with my studs?

Also are blue diamonds a timeless piece? I have a pair of blue diamond studs that are 2ctw.

I think the pendant should be larger than one stud and the e-ring should be larger than the pendant. Currently my studs are .65 each, pendant .80, and ring 1.63. But obviously there are no rules! You can wear any sizes you like!

This is a good question DLG! I am currently looking into buying studs and a pendant and I have two 0.37ct (each) on hold for the earrings and a 0.47ct on hold for the pendant. My e-ring is .79ct. DiamondSeeker, if you revisit this thread, let me know if you think those sizes will look ok? (Sorry, don't mean to threadjack...)

Hello I think your sizes of each piece sound fabulous!! So excited for you!!!! xx It is so much fun to put pieces together I have been working on my for a long time. I would love to get jackets for my studs I have a few things on my list, just need to save some money and work on finishing my want list

I think your 2 ct pendant will look great with your earrings. I feel like the pendant should be larger, I'm just not sure by how much. And I agree, it is fun picking everything out!

i also think that the pendant should be bigger than the stud. Having said that, i seldom wear studs + pendant - seems too much going on on the head area

I think you should wear what you like and the res doesn't matter.

I'd wear a pendant larger than my studs AND larger than my engagement ring. No issues.
