diamond stud settings?

Ok beat me if I am stupid but I am soon to be looking to buy two similar size ideal cut loose round diamonds to be made into stud earrings.
Now I will be buying the pair online of course and want to know do jewelers online set earrings as well? I know they do rings but do they have earring settings too?

Yes they do. There is the standard four prong basket style and the newer martini style that has three prongs and sits nicely on you ear. Or there is the bezel set. Lots of choices, good luck!!!

Yes they do! Do you know what type of backing you will want? Standered, screw on or La Pousette? I would vote for one of the last two as they are the most secure. When looking at earrings you may want to ask the vendors about these options as well.

3 prong all the way, martini style.

i had 4 prong baskets and they hung down a bit and never sat straight on the ear. my 3 prongs are perfect, adore them. i would never do anything but in the future....they also seem to make the diamonds look bigger!

Take a look at your ear lobes and how they fave on your body. I have martini studs (and I love them) but they sit closer into my ears and since my ear face to my east and west I cant see them as well. I also have the four prong and they sit a bit farther out so I can see more of the sparkle when I get ready in the AM. Also are your hole streached out? I would say go to a jewlery store and try on both to see what looks best with your face.
