Im looking to buy my gf diamond stud earrings... .75 to 1.0 ct. Clueless where to begin. Any suggestions for the most important factors in choosing diamonds for earrings. Im looking for round set in 18kt gold or platinum. I know nothing about this stuff. Thanks for help in advance...

i have seen from 500 to 3500... im looking for maybe 1200-1800..
 
Email the B2C staff. Ask if they are eye-clean, and not hazy. Ask for a gemologist to look them over and verify if they match well enough to be a pair of studs. If you buy from them, ask for the Pricescope discount.

Go right to whiteflash get their phone number give them your specs and your budget. They seem to have the best qualirty and a great upgrae policy. Don't mess around I have had 4 pairs and I should have done it right the first time.

I called whiteflash and they dont do upgrade on the preset earrings but they do look nice. The build your own are much more expensive and out of my range right now... Im going to call b2c next and see what I can come up with from them.. Thanks for all your help... Any more help you have I would love to know... thank you
 
ID Jewelry work wonders with a budget, I'd give them a call too and see what they can do for you. I've bought several pieces from them now, and for the price, they always deliver on beautiful quality. A lot of their stuff is upgradable too.
 
Does anyone have any experience with IDJewelry's preset diamond studs?

I'm also looking for earrings in the 1 CT TW range, wanted to stay under $2,000 but am considering going above that now for certified stones. Anyone want to help me find a matching pair?

I've never bought studs from IDJ but have a few preset pieces and the diamonds are beautiful, with visible arrows. I can't comment on their preset studs, but I would give Luann a quick call and let her know you're a PSer, and ask about their preset studs to see if they are what you're looking for.
 
Spoke to luann she is very helpful considering finishing the deal with her. just trying to pick between 1.0 ct f/g si vs 1.22 i si.. both excellent cut she said... 1850 vs 1950... which would you guys suggest...
