Hello!

I am trying to purchase diamond stud earrings for a christmas gift. I would like to purchase the earrings online.
I have found these two so far.

Ideally I would like the earrings to be 1ct total weight, round cut, 14 or 18K yellow gold. I have a budget of around $1000. Is it possible to buy what I am looking for in this price range? Any sites that are recommended to buy from? I live in Los Angeles, CA.

Thanks,
Emil

Not well cut ones...

I suggest you go to XIV Karats in Beverly Hills (don''t be scared of the location!) and ask for Yosi. He will get you what you need but probably for around $1500-$1750. You''re just not going to find anything decent for $1K IMO.

I''ve purchased my wedding ring, an eternity ring and diamond earrings from them and can''t say enough good things about them. Good luck!

For $1K you could get smaller, very well cut stones. I wear older cut stones, which don''t look as large as modern well cut stones, 2/3 carat for everyday wear and they look really good. There''s a stud earring thread around here if you want to see what different sizes look like on different ears.

Thanks for all the replies so far. As far as the bluenile link I posted, are those earrings good or not worth the price?

They''re good and probably worth it if you just want some sparkle on your ears. A lot of people here care about the cut, which is what makes the diamond sparkle. A well cut diamond will look bigger, sparkle more, that''s what most people posting here want. But the BN is a good deal if you just want some sparkle.

Ditto.

I color, SI2''s scare me a little but blue nile has an excellent return policy and I have a pair of blue nile diamond studs and they''re pretty. Good luck.

The link didn''t bring up any stones for me.
