I've seen a few different round brilliant four prong settings.
The Tiffany setting has the diamond sitting on the band so no light can enter from the base of the diamond. However the pro g setting allows light to enter from the sides.
Other settings have prongs that hold the diamond off the band so light can enter from the base. However these tend to have either thicker prongs or material between the prongs to hold the diamond securely. Therefore less light can enter from the sides.
Is there a big difference in light performance between these two settings?
