What is the pavillion angle? It should be on the grading report.

Also, is this online? if so, can you get a Sarin or Idealscope image, or both?

Pavilion Angle is 40.6 degrees. I cannot get other reports.

To be honest, that crown and pavillion angle is shallower than I''d personally like to go.

scores a .7 on the HCA. some like HCA''s to be b/t 1 and 2 but many happy folks with stones that score just below. have you seen it? could be beautiful to your eyes...

How does that effect the look of the diamond? I am trying to pick out a diamond for an engagement ring. Been together for ten years. Just trying to get something really nice. All opinions and advice will be extremely helpful.

With shallow combos, head shadow can be a problem. If you are looking locally, the easiest way to ensure you get a great stone would be to look at AGS0 graded stones. That pretty much takes the guesswork out of it, as they are graded for light performance. GIA stones can be gorgeous, but it takes doing a lot more homework to find one.

If you're shopping online, we can help if you give us an idea of what you are wanting.

what is head shadow?

It''s just that, the shadow from your head (when looking at the stone) obstructs the light source(s), making the stone appear darker.
