Hello everyone!

I was shopping around for a wedding band today and found two very thin and delicate diamond wedding bands that looked fantastic on each side of my engagement ring. The prongs were in the ''U'' shape so the edges of the little diamonds were exposed.

My engagement ring is low set and the metal is platinum. Will the little diamonds on the wedding band cut into the platinum prongs? Or is this not a concern?

Thanks!

Hi Daisi

Is the engagement ring band plain platinum or does it have small diamonds set along it?

the e-ring has small diamonds along the band but they are facing straight up - they aren''t angled towards the side

THanks!

oh maybe i should be clarify - I am worried the diamonds on the wedding band will cut into the prongs that hold down the center stone on my e-ring (it''s really low set).

Probably will if the girdle of the stone extend beyond the width of the band. Didn''t you try it on with your e-ring?
