Diamond Ring from Thailand

My father bought a diamond ring in Thailand a few years ago. It came with a certificate, however, it is in Thai. I have now inherited the ring, but I have no idea what the value of the ring may be for insurance purposes. Where can I go to find out the value, cut, clarity, carat, and color of the ring? What is the fee associated with this? This is my only piece of "real" jewelery, so it would be nice to know.
