I had one that size,..... 0.75 ct. I upgraded the diamond into a ring so I could see the diamond and enjoy it.
That''s a substantial size and will work well if you''re tall. Most of the gals here tend to go 0.33 to 0.5 carat for a solitaire pendant. After having had the larger size, I think I''ll go with the smaller size when I get around to replacing the solitaire pendant.
Hi, yes, 60-70 points is a great size. My stone is .38 and is bezel set so it looks about .5 and on my petite build this size is very complimentary and not overwhelming.
Have you gone to a b&m store to try a few necklaces on? Make sure the stones are well cut so you can get an accurate idea of size. It''s so much cheaper buying online and you''ll find the diamonds are better quality, but I always try stuff on locally before ordering anything just to be sure.
My pendant is .55 ct round and I think it is great. At first the size sounded a little small, but it is actually bigger than I thought it would be and I love it!
Ha ha Sevens One, you are sneaky...I just saw your other thread asking for neck shots!
My pendant is quite traditional. Here''s a pic that Whiteflash took for me. The diamond is 0.55, G SI2. Good Old Gold has a similar style on their website (under settings, jewelry) -- I asked WF to make mine similar but to make the bale shorter than GOG''s.
I''ll try to take a neck shot for you later and post that on your other thread.
