I am looking for an eye clean diamond 0.75-1.00 in SI1 or better and color H or better. Please help. Budget is $2300.

You might have to drop your color (or something)...both need to be verified eye-clean.

Here is an H that looks good $2000

Here is a J for $2210

There are other virtual stones that would need to be called in but I didnt list any of those. You can use the
Cut Quality search or the Search All to find diamonds that fit your specs. EDIT - see Diamond Search area right
under menus.

Run the numbers through the HCA tool here. Try to avoid anything that scores over 2.

Look for GIA and AGS certified stones. You can look at EGL but they may be off by 2 grades in color and clarity.

Here are the cheat numbers for a well cut round stone...
depth 60-62%
table 54-57%
crown angle 34-35 degs
pavilion angle 40.6-41 degs

polish & symmetry - very good and above
gridle - avoid extremes like very thin to very thick

Hi isu

I take it you want a round diamond? Is your budget just for the diamond or does it need to include the setting also? Its up to you but I would also include SI2 in your search unless you prefer not to, this could broaden the options.

Some suggestions, check any SI clarity diamonds are eyeclean to your standards by asking the vendor and in the case of the first diamond below, check the cloud inclusion noted on the clarity plot isn't impacting brilliance ( ask for one of the gemologists to check both above noted points).

With the diamond above you would need to request the hearts image if having a h&a stone is important to you and also with this and some of the other diamonds check the cloud inclusions aren't having a negative effect.

I forgot to say, but looking for princess cut. sorry

It is for an engagement ring.
