Diamond Necklace Overlap?

I have a yellow gold east-west oval diamond necklace set in a thin bezel, 0.62 ct, G to I color, I1 clarity. However, I recently fell in love with a yellow gold round diamond necklace in a much thicker bezel, J color, 0.63 ct, SI2. Pictures below. Do you think they’re too similar, or would they serve different purposes? I feel like the oval is more romantic and the round more modern but am wondering if 2 yellow gold bezel necklaces the same carat size is overkill. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

They are very similar but the heart wants what it wants. I wonder if hiu can change the chain style or length for one to differentiate them more?

If you have budget constraints I would say that they are too similar to warrant purchase of the new necklace.
