Diamond measurements...

What is the proper measurement for a 2.2 oval diamond? Around about figure...

It looks like it is 9.75-7.50 x 4.20.

It is very possible that it is actually 8.75-7.50 x 4.20, but I couldn''t read my own handwriting when I wrote it down.

Do either of these sizes sound right and the one that sounds right...what do you think of the diamond?

It is a G SI3...

Not sure but if you do a search above in the pricescope your diamond for ovals of the same weight, you will see a range.

it totally depends on the oval ratio...is it a fat oval, a long skinny oval. there''s no ''right range'' for an oval measurement unfortunately. it''s not like a round where obviously the more round it is the better. with fancies, they can be long, short, fat, etc...so it just depends on the ratio. sorry can''t be of more help.
