Hi all,
I have been trying to find a diamond on James Allen/Whiteflash/Adiamor etc. I'm looking for around 2 carat oval, GIA, no visible warmth (H or above?). I am pretty new to this, but seem to be going around in circles and unable to figure out which stone is the right fit (on paper at least) Ultimately I want a stone with good sparkle that isn't yellow, that is eye clean. I don't really care if it has fluorescence as long as it's not cloudy. As for bow tie- I think I'm ok with it as long as it not too obvious- minimal would be great.
So, I was reading about diamond concierge. I had contacted a company that goes by the business name 'diamond pro'. The man initially seemed interested, but appeared to only want to work with JA (he poo pooed Whiteflash, as he didn't feel they were ethical- he didn't go into detail and I didn't ask). I'm totally open to getting a diamond from JA but don't want to restrict the search to one place.
Of those of you out there who have had to return a diamond, were there any problems with the process? My budget is tight (12.5 k for stone), so I know I may have to compromise. When I look at the GIA reports I get freaked out by all the different inclusion types. It seems to be the more I learn from this awesome site, the more I realise I don't know :)

Would any of you experts out there be willing to choose me one when I am ready to purchase (hoping to purchase within the next month)?

I am not an expert or 'pro' by any means but if I was looking for an oval I would call good old gold.

They do a lot w/ fancy shapes, have excellent customer service and will take videos for you.

If I were to have a diamond adviser I would prob go with http://www.prodiamondadvisor.com/about-ust
The two gentlemen have posted on these boards for years and have a lot of experience.

Louisa,
I had to return a diamond to JA (I purchased two to compare, selected one, and returned the other). It was pretty painless. It took a few weeks for them to inspect the diamond (to make sure it was in the same condition as it was when they sold it to me) and to processs the refund, but my credit card account received the full credit within one billing cycle, so I never actually had to make a payment on the diamond that was returned.

Whiteflash doesnt keep ovals in stock or have pictures so they are not the greatest to work with for fancy cuts. Great for rounds
and princess cuts though.

James Allen does have pictures and can get aset images for you. Your budget is a little tight for 2 carat in H. Here is what I could
find in an I that looks like it has good light return. They will give you up to 3 asets. Best to pick 3 and request them all at once so
you can compare.
