I''m sorry I haven''t posted in quite awhile on this forum. New regulations at work makes it much harder to spend time on Pricescope.

Anyway, for my birthday back in May my husband bought a necklace from a local jeweler that didn''t turn out quite right. We saw a necklace in Feb that we both loved made of apatite and lemon quartz. The colors were so brilliant the necklace glowed. But hubby waited too long and by the time he got around to going back to the store it was gone. They tried to reorder but the colors were never right and the vendor was uncooperative. So, just last week we finally got a credit and hubby told me to find something new.

Well, that something new I am thinking about is the diamond hoop earrings. My budget is $500. I''ve seen plenty of hoops I love in the $2-$3K range but $500 is tougher. I saw the Whiteflash Huggable Hoops http://www.whiteflash.com/golden-wardrobe/Gold_Details.aspx?ItemCode=WF-4158&CategID=54 that look like a possibility. I like that they are not true huggies but more like small hoops. Does anyone have these? Are the diamonds big enough to truly sparkle. I have Whiteflash diamond studs I bought and love.

Any other hoop suggestions in the $500 range?

Thanks!

I would go with the WF ones. I just like the design better than the ones at Abazias . . . and you''re right about the stone quality from WF being better. Can you stretch your budget at all, or are you limited to $500?

I might be able to stretch a little bit. What did you have in mind?

Oh, those 2nd ones are really unique. Very different--what fun.

I did look at the scattered ones, but I''m thinking right now I want thinner all diamond hoops. I''d like to eventually be able to have some dangles made that would slip on and hang off the bottom.

Oh, that does sound cool! I've seen hoops with removable "danglies" before, and they look very nice. Plus, it's great that you can wear them with or without the "danglies" . . . gives you two separate pairs of earrings!

And I know what you mean about that second pair . . . I
