I''ve spent quite a bit of time reading through the forum and have found it incredibly helpful for a newbie. I am considering two diamonds for a pendant on WhiteFlash. I''m leaning toward their Martini setting (though I''m open to hear pros or cons of this setting). Here are the two diamonds I was looking at:

Option #1:
AGS-8833404
0.571 ct
I
SI1
$1,316.70
. Depth %: 61.4
. Table %: 56.1
. Crown Angle: 34.6
. Crown %: 15.2
. Star : 54
. Pavilion Angle: 40.6
. Pavilion %: 42.7
. Lower Girdle %: 75
. Girdle: Thin to Slightly Thick Faceted
. Measurements: 5.31-5.33X3.27
. Light Performance: 0
. Polish: Ideal
. Symmetry: Ideal
. Culet: Pointed
. Fluorescence: Negligible

Would these be appropriate for the Martini pendant setting? Does anyone have thoughts on WF''s "Ready Set Go" settings where they pick the diamond for you? Please help?!?!

They both score below 1 on the HCA and seem nice - do you have IS images you can post for them? Have you verified with WF that they are both eyeclean?

The only consideration about picking your own stones versus RSG is that RSG stones are NOT upgradable in the future. So for a lower price point they are a great option; however, if you want to be able to upgrade stones in the future, don't go with the RSG.

Assuming it''s eyeclean, I''d go with the first one, it''s a bit bigger.

And FG raises a valid point about RSTG.

I''d also get the bigger one unless you''re on a tight budget.

I just spoke with Katie at WF about a pendant. She steered me towards the half-bezel setting instead of the martini -- the former is less prone to flipping.
