i love how caring all the PS'ers are but sometimes i think that whenever someone says something and someone else goes off and starts a whole big post about whatever the person said (maybe inadvertently then couldn't go back and change it), it turns something personal that maybe was just a 'side mention' into a huge deal in the main forum areas, and everyone starts asking about it and worrying.

just my thoughts, seems like lately there's a new post about someone's health or prayers almost daily now. again the PS community is very caring which is a positive thing, but sometimes i just wonder if it's too intrusive. it's why i would almost never really want to mention anything like that...hehehe.

didn't mean to make waves, it's just something i have often thought about when i see posts calling out someone for something they mentioned that was hidden deep in another thread. i am sure that in general, people are probably very appreciative of the caring community of PS (i know i really appreciate my WWT group's positive thoughts and vibes for sure!), but sometimes i think 'gosh do they really want to be called out in a separate thread with a heading etc etc...anyway...again just my random thoughts. it's not necessarily pointed at you gypsy so sorry to put you on the defensive. and thanks for not taking note of anything i inadvertently maybe someday might mention.

oh and DOH since this thread does have a purpose... DF... i hope you are doing well and nothing serious is going on. didja see my post about white pants in shopping?

Hi all! I had internet issues, Comcast decided to do routine maintenance in my area between 1 am and 6 am, my prime PS times! Then I was running around all day long. Thank you so much for all the concern, I am fine, I hope, but have been plagued by the back and hip pain for a long while and it is quite bad at times. Not sure if it is fibromyalgia related or arthritis, due to running for all those years...but whatever the cause, even if they find nothing, which happens a lot when it is muscular in nature, but there are days I cannot walk and it is making me crazy. At 41 I am too young for a walker!! But thanks for the kindness, I hope to not be on the health treadmill again, and would just like to feel better. The end of the year schedule with all the kids and stuff is not helping, but it will calm down soon enough!!!

I hope they figure out what the problem is and that there is a relatively easy solution. I''m sorry to have signaled you out, I was just concerned. Take care and try to relax some... naps are good... even if they are in the MRI machine.

Lisa, thanks! I do love Miss Maya, she is my four legged female sweetie. Callie and Casper have to come here to play with her!

Just take me to have our "usual", we can sit outside on the patio, have an Asian chicken salad and maybe a nice glass of wine, and enjoy some fresh air...I am with you on not cooking! Once the big kids are at camp, I do not even pretend to cook, my youngest loves sandwiches and when it is hot out, why cook? Makes the kitchen too hot!!!! (I am so reasonable, aren''t I?)

No real updates other than it is not a tumor or bone issue, which is of course wonderful news. Bad news is it still hurts terribly a lot of the time, and it really boils down t muscular/fibromyalgia issues, since the x ray and mri showed nothing, and yet I cannot bend over from the waist on either side without soreness and pain. So, back to square one, at least with the knowledge it is not something terrible, which is really so important! Thanks to all who wished me well, I really appreciated it!

Oh DF, how frustrating for you. I''m glad to hear that there is no cancer, but, chronic pain is so difficult. I am hoping they figure out a way to help you.

Me too! I feel too young to be dealing with this, and it is so upsetting to not know what is causing my pain, which is all over me at times. I guess fibromyalgia is really the best overall diagnosis but it is still frustrating to me. I just feel bad so often that I wish there were better options for me.
