Diamond experts...I need reassurance...Please and thank you!

So I am completely overwhelmed with all that goes into buying a diamond. I decided to buy a diamond online because there are so many to choose from I feel like there is a better selection, however I can't see it in person

I have read many of your expert opinions and tried to fit that into my selection criteria. Can yall give me your opinion on this one?

do you have the report number? Having the angle measurements are helpful in determining if the stone you're considering has potential.

Not an expert, but looks promising. Scores well on the HCA. I am not sure how the add'l clouds that aren't shown will affect the stone, but I'd request further imaging (ASET or IS) if you could.

Alright, thank you. I just plugged another diamond in to the HCA and it comes out with .7...once again it doesn't have an images just the GIA image. SI1 clarity is where I need to stay for my price range but i want the ring to be absolutely brilliant, so I am going for the cut.

My stone was 0.8 on the HCA, but you still have to get images to properly assess symmetry, light performance. IIRC the HCA favors shallow(er) stones, so you have to make sure it looks proper, or at least good to you.

Ditto Titan, numbers are fine and it's a recent report, no other issues, we'll need more info to tell you more about the nuances and facet patterning though.

Do you already have the stone? If so what do you think?

If you are considering it, if the vendor has a good return policy I'd recommend having it shipped out to look at in-person before having it set, make sure you like how it looks and that it's clean to your personal specifications, whatever they are. Just be sure to get the return policy and any other agreements you might have with the vendor in writing before buying!


Titan - the additional clouds/wisps/whatever not shown isn't going to be an issue with reputably (GIA/AGS in the US) graded SIs, but if it said "clarity based on clouds not shown" that'd be a red flag for me in an SI.
