Hello Pricescopers!
I officially joined to get some of your advice. I''ve been reading and admiring for a few months I''ve tried to apply some of the lessons garnered from the forum but consequently find myself utterly stalled in choosing a diamond for an anniversary ring. Preferred shape is square, size is as close to 2cts as possible w/o going over a budget of 15K. I prefer the randomness of the brilliant cut and have looked at square hearts and arrows (too perfect for my taste). I am afraid of radiants due to not liking the "crushed ice" appearance. I''ve been in contact w/Jonathan at GOG and currently I''m considering the cut cornered square diamond. I would like any advice/opinions on the following stone. Many thanks in advance. The SI2 makes me a little nervous however Jonathan is solid that it is a good looking stone.

Regards,
Lynn

I''m not familiar with what the specs should look like on this type of cut, but I have seen the videos of them on GOG and they are sure stunning... have you watched them?

I would say that you can trust what Jon tells you, without any worries. If he says its a beaut, it''s a beaut!

Thank you so much. The reassurance helps me a lot.

I definitely like the cut corner square brilliant much better than princess and radiant cuts. I sort of like my H&A stones round! But I looked up the stone and it is gorgeous. The inclusions look white, but whether they are acceptable to you or not will depend on your personal preference on clarity. The stone certainly looks clean in the big magnified photo, though, and I would also trust Jon''s eye.
