Hey all! I posted earlier this week about finding a third match to a pair of emerald cut diamonds. I was told that finding a stock diamond would be very difficult and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with having a stone cut.

You can make searches with the dimension of the diamond you need. Once you find one that is very close, you might find a willingness to cut it to perfectly match, but most of the time you'll find one close enough to leave it as-is. How close does it need to be? Are the two you have totally identical? What is the goal? How large are the other two diamonds?

The other two diamonds are 1 ct each. A few years back I purchased another diamond to match the pair and I've never been happy with it
