I bought my diamond from diamond.com, and while I''m very happy with it, diamond.com isn''t for everyone. They won''t give you any more information about their diamonds other than what is listed on their website. They also won''t take pictures or anything to show you the diamond before you purchase it. They don''t have an upgrade policy, so once you purchase a diamond from there, they won''t buy it back in exchange for a bigger one. I''m also not in love with their settings. My setting has a pretty wide gap between the center stone and side stones. They do have a 30 day return period, so if you don''t like what you bought, you can return it.
My diamond had a GIA report, but I did take it to an appraiser to get it checked. It was exactly what they said it was on their website, meaning I purchased what I thought was a 1.03 carat F, VS2, and it turned out to be an 1.03 carat F, VS2 diamond. The shipping is pretty quick. I think I received either the next day or the second day after I ordered it. I didn''t use the payment option, but I heard that it''s pretty hard to get approved for this.
I bought some ruby studs from them and they were set very crooked. So I sent them back for a second pair. The second pair was worse than the first. The stones were visibly different sizes. Maybe I was just unlucky but I would not buy from them again.
