I've recently acquired these studs from an estate sale and am having trouble determining the color. The basket setting used to be white gold but over time has turned a dull off white/light yellow. Would this cause the diamonds to reflect yellow as well? The gold looks different in all the photos but is closest in color to the 2nd picture. Here are some pictures, would appreciate some feedback. Thanks in advance! :)

Have they been cleaned good, like in an ultrasonic? Because they look like they aren't clean. Definitely get the settings rhodium plated. The stones look pretty white to me!

I agree with DS - clean those stones good - I think they look pretty darned white! The settings definitely need to be rhodium plated again and I think you'd have some great earrings!

A good cleaning will really bring out those stones - they look lovely! What a great find. I'd def re plate them to make everything sparkle like new.

Really nice earrings, cancervive!

Clean them, have them replated and you will have some lovely earrings. :appl:

Mr. Clean plus Dawn over night. HOT HOT water. Soft toothbrush. Elbow grease. Followed by an independent appraiser.

Beautiful earrings!

If you have a jewelry store nearby, have them clean them for you and you'll get a better idea of their color AND their sparkle.
