since everyone was so helpful with my las post, thought id put my new dilema out there...
so my boyfriend ordered the oval diamond from his uncle and his uncle told him he would sent him the best one for the size he wanted and the money, which was 1 ct, for 3k. when it arrived my bf found out it was d color, which he was pleased with, and SI1, which he was not pleased with. he called me and told me that he could see the inclusions only with the loop thing, but not with the naked eye, so i said if he cant see anything to just get it because it still seems like such a good deal.
so later that day i saw it, and it really was beautiful, great color (d), great proportions (length-8.02, width-6.01, table-55%, depth-58%, cant remember everything exactly) but the inclusions were right on the surface of the table, and not right away but after looking at a for a few minutes i was totally able to see the inclusions with my naked eye. im not such an expert so i dont know if its so bad, but they did look like a lot of black tiny dots on one side of the oval.
now, the question is if i should say anything. im not even really sure if he would be able to return it but i dont want to ask, because then hes gonna think im not happy with it and i am, but i also want to make sure hes getting the best deal he can. i showed him that i was able to see the inclusions and then he agreed with me that he could too but then left it at that. so im pretty sure i should just leave it at that too and not say anything, i just need some reinforcement to encourage me to just let it go and tell me that i got a great deal. right?
thanks a lot everyone.
