I''m close to making a purchase. Just need final words of advise as i won''t see the diamond until it arrives from New York.

Please give any comments on this diamond.

HCA says excellent! sounds like a winner! White gold needs re-plated from time to time but is less expensive than platinum. I chose white gold and am perfectly happy with it, but cost was an issue and to me it looks the same. Many do choose platinum though, so they may chime in on why they prefer it.

Nice stone! I prefer platinum myself (or at least that''s what I got my girlfriend), but for me price wasn''t a major concern.

Thank you to all those who replied. I have managed to secure this diamond and its now on its way. I can''t wait to see it let alone give it to my girlfriend. I''ve learned so much from this experience especially how hard it is to find a truly well cut stone.
