Hi everyone. I have been reading this site for a few weeks and have found it very useful. I have a couple of diamonds and would like some advice. Here are the specs:

Diamond #1
Round Brilliant
Carat: 2.01
Measurements: 8.13 x 8.17 x 4.91
Color: G
Clarity: SI2
Cut Grade: Ex
Polish: Ex
Symm: Ex
Table: 60.0%
Depth: 60.2%
Crown: 33
Pavillion: 41.2
Flourescence: None

Diamond #2
Round Brilliant
Carat: 1.90
Measurements: 8.09 x 8.15 x 4.76
Color: D
Clarity: SI2
Cut Grade: VG
Polish: Ex
Symm: VG
Table: 62.0%
Depth: 58.6%
Crown: 32.5
Pavillion: 40.8
Flourescence: Strong Blue

One thing to note, I thought the inclusions on Diamond #2 were somewhat visible to the eye. It''s really the only thing holding me back. I''m thinking about going up to an SI1 for peace of mind. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

Some people have a preference for tables in the 50s versus the 60s but that''s a taste thing. Are these GIA graded? You may want to remember that a round with a 62% table has less than half the chances of being EX for proportions than a diamond with a 60% table (at 40.8/32.5 this is VG) because some visual properties decrease as tables get near 63% and larger.

Both crowns are shallower than my personal taste but, again, it depends on what you like. It sounds like you''ve seen these. Have you compared them to makes with tables in the 50s and/or high crowns? Be sure to check the effects of the fluoro, clarity and especially performance in several lighting conditions - not just in the jewelry showroom''s lighting.
