I think if you have seen it in person and examined it in a number of lighting environments to ensure that it is eye clean then you have a nice option here!

Is there additional value for buying branded diamonds like Lazare Kaplan? And is it true that Lazare cuts some of Tiffanys diamonds?

depends on whom you talk to. IMO...if the stone is well cut then it doesn't matter.
