I have found your postings very helpful in my diamond education, and your informative and advice/assistance you''ve given to other members have been great reading. It is now time that I ask you, and any of the many other PS forumites, for some guidance. I know you are all busy, but hope you can help! I''m considering purchasing a diamond, and want to get a better feel for it. Do you think you could run a DiamCalc for me on the following dimensions:
AGSL Cert for Round Brilliant ''07
Weight: 1.045 carat
Color: H
Clarity: VVS1
Measures: 6.58 - 6.59 x 3.99 mm
Depth %: 60.7
Table %: 55.9
Pavi Angle & Depth: 40.7 & 42.9%
Crown Angle & Height: 33.9 & 15.0%
Star Length: 55%
Lower Girdle Lenght: 77%
Polish & Sym: Exc
Culet: Pointed
Girdle: Thing to Medium (1.1-3.3%)
Fluorescence: None
I feel like I''ve screened out other possibles to the best of my ability and narrowed my list down to this diamond. I used the HCA calculator (0.7) - and based on what I''ve read I believe that this is good choice - but would like to validate with the diamond calculator. If I do go with this diamond it will be from a PS online vendor and I guess I''m just looking for that last bit of reassurance.
