Designer vs. Look A Like???

Hello! I am new to this forum but I have been visiting and learning from it for about a year! (if you can believe that!)
Im in no way an expert I just LOVE diamonds. I was looking at getting a new wedding ring and was wondering if anyone could give me osme advise on where I should start REALLY looking. I mean....I''ve looked, trust me on that one but for real consideration. I have gone from the super upscale designer only places to the factory direct places and the prices are remarkably different that it''s almost scary sometimes. Is any place better or worse? Is it just about the diamond or should I consider more?

If you can afford the designer types, then do that, if not then get a one that someone got here on pricescope that looks great. I tried the non-designer type and I was never happy, but maybe it was
because I picked the wrong maker.
The quality you get from a designer is the best in my opinion, but im sure others here would disagree with me.
