I live in Summit County and I ended up having Whiteflash custom make my ring. If you have a picture or can draw a picture of what you are thinking they can help you out. I don't have any recommendations for jewelers in the area but you could try Jay Feder Jewelers near the 16th Street Mall -- I believe they can design a ring for you. There is also another jeweler near Applewood (?) area in Arvada that can design, too. I am not familiar with either jewelers work but try giving them a call. You can get the Arvada one if you search on-line as that is how I found them. Best of luck.
We have several excellent custom houses in Denver. There are even a few who are regulars here on the forum. What sort of thing were you looking to have made?
I am a huge fan of the D Vatche x prong setting, but have been playing with the idea of including 2 baguettes from our grandmothers rings on the side. Similar to the idea of D Vatche's 3 Stone Baguette setting. My feeling is that there is too much going on in their 3 stone, and would like a cleaner version, following the x prong lines, but tying side baguettes in, with out the clutter.
I started to consider some tension settings, with a square diamond, but would still like to tie in the side stones in a clean manner. You guys will have to help me out here, will flush mounting the side stones drastically reduce all the light characteristics we buy diamonds for? Maybe Something similar to this photo, but envision stones in the grooves
