I have an antique style solitaire ering with a diamond wedding band. I love coloured genstones and often wear a CS solitaire on my right hand. Nala's post had me thinking..,,what is your perfect RHR? Does it have to look very different than your ering? What type of diamond RHR would you do? Pics would be great!

A step cut (EC or asscher) 3 stone ring would be a perfect RHR for me...

My almost perfect RHR is what I have now that I describe as understated elegance with a 2.21 F-SI1 CBI diamond set in a graceful Vatche Serenity setting with a delicate basket on a thin pave band.

Perhaps in the future, maybe an upgrade to a 3ct D-VS2 CBI diamond, but no larger, and no higher in clarity (I won't pay for what I can't see). That might be awhile but also depends on how my investments do.

Here are my two favorite styles-

1) Frekechild's 7 Stone OEC Band

2) Small YG Single Diamond Bezel Ring

These styles are very different than my e-ring. I love the 7 stone because it is blingy and can stand on its own if I decided to wear it instead of my e-ring just to switch things up. I think a diamond bezel ring is just gorgeous as a RHR and can also work as an e-ring if travelling on vacation or doing something outdoorsy. I guess I like the idea of my rings being able to do double duty-LOL.

Your CBI stone would look so nice on my right hand!... Don't think I can handle a 3ct MRB... :(sad

My 1.74 ct five stone band is my diamond RHR, though I do wear it as a wedding band quite often in place of my ering and band set.
I also now have 7 various gem stone rings and they all come out to play in rotation. Because I picked all of them out to me they're all perfect, or at least I love them enough to want to wear them :cheeky:
I get bored with things easily so having an assortment is far better for me.

My 1.19ct EC diamond in its new platinum diamond halo with an air gap setting, low profile, and 5mm comfort fit shank tapering to 3mm at the bottom. Hopefully this will become a reality by end of Jan 2015.

I have a few ideas in mind for future RHRs involving CSs.

DK :))

I've dobe a five stone 1.7 ct, a Trannie 1.81 M in a platinum bezel and then a three stone EC... I'm still looking for just the right thing for me.... Now plotting a 2-2.5 ft Eternity... My name is Mayk and I'm a PS diamond junkie... :Up_to_something:

I honestly have no idea, but probably an EC sapphire with diamond sides.

Ha ha! Sounds like your holiday was very festive :-)

I've got more than one fantasy RHR!

A very angular, Art Deco style 2-carat emerald-cut center with baguette sides.

A floral ring, all diamond, basically a diamond flower, very vintage and pretty.

A large (say 2ct) marquise in a sleek modern bezel.

A stunning 3-carat Brian Gavin Signature modern round brilliant, set in a low, unobtrusive four-prong solitaire setting.

I've got big dreams but small pockets. :D If I won the lottery I would buy all of those.

I'd like a heart-shaped diamond in a halo with a split shank pave band.
