Derco, a B&M jeweler with three locations in San Jose and San Francisco, has filed for bankruptcy protection. Thought I''d share the link since they are sometimes mentioned on this board. If they close the San Jose store I''ll be sad, since they were very helpful to me when I was engagement ring shopping, though I didn''t buy from them.

Oh, that''s too bad. I have fond memories of purchasing both diamonds and rings from them back in the day. The expansion into retail stores must have killed them; their "wholesale" store in the Jewelry Center was always packed.

I can''t belive.some very nice memories I have with them!
