I've seen the parallels to Hitler since last spring, but people have laughed at the comparison.

His analysis is shallow and seriously flawed. But in spite of that, this piece is very indicative of the increased loss of status and respect
we've suffered with this election's ugliness out there for all to see.

And those poor opinions "out there", when they reach a critical level, do matter more than most people would like to admit.
