does the relationship between depth and table detemine how a stone will perform. Do you want these numbers close in percentage or apart? If so what kind of #''s should i look for?

Depth and table might be related in some way with the other attributes fixed, but nearly every diamond differs in other attributes, too. So the answer really is "no" they are not directly related.

There has been some discussion that a larger table makes a diamondf "look" larger. Obviously, too much depth amkes a stone "look" smaller in diameter. There is a correlation of brilliancy and dispersion to table size. And there is a relation of brilliancy to depth. However to relate depth and table size to eachother means little.

There are so many real things to confuse the issue, that this one should remain on the sideline.

You didn't say what shape diamond you want, but you can access Cut Charts at http://diamonds.pricescope.com/. There is a tool bar on the left hand side of the page. Toward the bottom are links to Cut Charts for various shapes of diamond cuts.
