Wedding Decor ideas for placecard and cake table ?

I was planning on doing ribbon boards for my escort cards. I wasn''t planning on doing place cards.

I''m stealing Krissie''s idea of putting the BM bouquets around the cake table. We just decided to do placecards so I''m interested to hear others'' ideas!

Someone (still no idea who) put my and my MOH''s bouquets on the cake table, with some scattered petals and votive candles. I thought it was perfect!

We didn''t put anything on the escort card table, they were next to the guestbook table which had a big display and I didn''t want to get too busy.

If you''re doing placecards, then there should be centerpieces on those tables, no?

I''m also putting the bridesmaid bouquets and maybe rosepetals on the cake table. For the escort card table I''ll have the toss bouquet in a vase. That table will be a 4 ft rectangle, though. If you''re doing a round table a tall flower arrangement in the center would be pretty.
