I am looking at 2 diamonds and can't decide.
The setting I am going for is a classic 4 prong with a V shank and pave band.
I want the diamond to pop out when you look at it from the sides. as well as from the top.
Not physically pop out, but to look elegant and substantial.
My concern is that the first diamond is below 7.4 so will it look small for a 1.50
and the second one has a smaller crown ht, so will it not have a nice height?
I have tried on rings at Birks and Tiffanys and that is how I decided on a 1.50.
The first diamond is from an online vendor and the second is from a local jeweler.
It is hard for me to visualize how each one will look in the finished setting, which will look better.
I know I sound fussy, but this is a once in a lifetime purchase and I don't want to make a mistake.
I really appreciate some advice.
