Hi Mike,
Thank you for the terrific suggestion! I had wondered if something like that was possible, but I had no idea how to execute it. Thank you for taking the time to help me with this. Your work is absolutely GORGEOUS!
Dreamer, I do believe she has similar specs for all of her listings. I do wish she had better photos (and more than one!). However, she was very nice and agreed to give me a 3 day return period so that I could take them to my jeweler. I think that perhaps she thinks most people don't know the difference/understand specs and just go by the photo (not true for PSers of course!). I'd tell you to call her, but you managed to find your own gorgeous pair!
I think I've hit a snag with my settings plans. I showed DH the sketch last night and he thinks they resemble a cross. Given that we're Jewish, he didn't really care for the outline. Here's a photo of something really similar. We had tweaked it a bit. What I liked about this is that the post was on the stud part of the earring and since there were "loops" both above and below, it kind of balanced the earrings and you couldn't tell that my piercings were lopsided. So, I guess I have to go back to the drawing board. Sigh.
