I got exactly what I just posted w/ some minor modifications. I'm very happy w/ the results, quick turn around time, and reasonable cost! But I'm not spilling the beans just yet!

I have the Brian Gavin version of the half-round solitaire for my 2.5 carat and I love it. It makes the diamond look huge, protects with six prongs, and it is comfortable to wear and makes it easy to stack bands.

Or something like this...without pave and with yellow gold w/platinum head, so you have to use your imagination! Keeping in mind that the stone in this sample is a little over a carat, and mine is 2.538...this is their legato band with 6 prong head.

OH YAY, I can't wait to see this one as well as I'm in similar boat. So undecided that as of now was going to have WF put in temp setting just so I can get a feel for the new size in a solitaire.

Yes, this is also a great idea...I should think about doing that...I would think they would credit you toward the final setting if you decided within the return period, right?
