Decided on a Diamond, setting advice please

I have decided on a Princess cut ~1ct. Looking for settings ideas. I am going to get the setting from GOG. Looking to spend ~1500 on the setting. White gold or Plat. Possibly solitare but leaning towards something with diamonds on the side that is "shiny" and eye catching. I have been looking all over the net at stuff and love some Vatche settings. I am open to any ideas or suggestions. Thanks

Take a look at www.gabrielengaged.com.. Vatche does have some nice stuff, Gabriel & Co has a wide variety of styles at good prices. Where you just looking at diamonds on the sides going down the shank of the ring, or also around the top near the prongs? Halo style? Or just a fancy solitaire?

I love Vatche, but I think Gabriel & Co. might be a little better priced. Do you know what style jewelry she likes? There are some safe choices but it would help if you knew her preferences.

I love VAtche as well, and the quality is certainly excellent! This one is outside of your budget but you can also apply the $75 dicount. It may also be priced better with other vendors, GOG is selling for 20% under recommended retail prices, I also heard that James Allen is selling Vatche now although I havent seen it on their website but it may be worth calling them and asking.

I like the caronline, how the diamond sits and looks from the side. Looking for something like that but with diamonds on the band, any ideas??
