Hello,
Just out of curiosity how much would you charge for the following ring:

1.87 carat H SI2

Setting info: 2mm 14K White Gold, Tiffany style 6 prongs

Laser drilled ( Not filled)

Thank you for your help.

Hi Funclub,
With the information you've provided, the answer could be $100 and it could be $20,000

What other information would you need for you to point out a price range? Below you will find a copy of the diamond report.

Unfortunately it only lists the price of the stone if it were not laser drilled but I am trying to get an idea of what it may cost with the laser drilled procedure performed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Basically no one can answer your question without looking at the diamond first hand.
Even then, different stores would charge a different price.
Are you trying to figure out if a stone/ring you're considering buying is a good deal- or trying to learn a price you can sell for?

I am trying to see if what I paid for it was a fair price. The stone is beautiful but I would just like to know what I am dealing with. Based on your experience in the industry what would a 1.87 carat laser drilled diamond go for in general?

No answer given here is going to be helpful to you. There's really no way to establish a fair price sight unseen
I assume the diamond has no GIA report- is there any gem lab report?

Where did you purchase the ring?

The report can be found attached to one of my comments (3rd comment in the post) above and it was purchased at Hadar Diamonds.

That's basically an independent appraisal, not a gem lab report (GIA or AGS). Value of this appraisal depends on the industry reputation of this AGI. I've heard of some jewelers using them, but I don't know if it's kosher.

Do you know what price this diamond can go for on today's market?

If you really want to find out you can pay the fee to have GIA or AGS certify and grade the diamond for you and/or see an appraiser who can give you the estimated resale price of the diamond. Without a grade report or looking at the diamond, there is no way to really know on here

Hello,

Attached you will find the grade report. What would you price it (retail) for the sake or argument, just out of curiosity?

:)

Most of our posters are not jewelers and I can tell you that the ones we have are not going to give you a value because they
would need to see the stone and it would need to have paperwork that they trusted. We're not actually allowed to discuss
clarity enhanced stones on this forum which is another reason why your're not going to get much feedback.

You might try going to another website that sells the same kind of stones and comparing your cost to what it would have cost
you at another site.

All the best,
tyty

I agree with ty, if you look at what other going rates are based on your certification / diamond specs you should probably expect it to sell for about 20-50% less than the going rate due to inspection costs, overhead, etc. That being said, your best bet is to go to a few jewelers and bring the diamond with you and get an average of what they're saying. On paper a diamond could look fantastic but in person any slight inclusion or proportion could skew the price upward or downward. I recommend getting an HCA score on your diamonds proportions and visiting a few jewelers to find out
