Back in the mid-90s, there was some awful flooding in the Brisbane area of Queensland. A river about 30 minutes south of Brissie broke its banks, flooding the flanking Carwood Golf Course, After the waters receded, there were whispers of strange things in one of the course's water hazards, a lake right next to the river. It was a bit like Nessie, an urban legend -- until proper video footage started showing up!

I love the top comment on the Youtube video - in Australia, you're not even the top of the food chain on a bloody golf course!
I've not been to see it myself, but SIL lives in Brissie and it's going on my 'to do' list for the next time I'm there!!
