Daydreaming thread.

fun thread Gypsy! i would say a larger kitchen, sleep, and putting my PJs on (if i weren''t too tired to MOVE that could actually become reality). ha! oh, and going for a simple walk with DH complete with uninterrupted conversation and hand-holding.

while i am here.... i have to be prudent, was that really you? if you don''t know what i am referring to, eek!

DH and I want to buy a schooner and run week-long trips out of Maine and Nova Scotia in the summer, and the Caribbean (Cuba, especially) in the winter. Oh yeah, and we want a house with an acre on the water somewhere in both locations too.

An acre of land has its downside: mowing the lawn (I know because my DH constantly complained and dreaded the weekends)! It''s not fun, not even with a riding lawn mower.

Yeah, I grew up on an acre, and HATED mowing too. But I think if we could afford a boat and two houses with that much land we''d probably be hiring a full-time gardener too...

Either that or we''d landscape with river rocks!

Bee* I won 2 bucks yesterday. I should qualify my desires... winning a large enough lottery jackpot that I would afford to quit, pay off all debts, buy a decent home, fun John''s dream of going to culinary school then opening a cafe, and fund my own dreams.


It''s just wordier that way.l

Think I''ll have to do the same. What I''d like is to win the jackpot this Saturday-think it''s nearly €14 million. Wonder if PS dust will help the cause

Finishing graduate school when I wanted to in 2010 instead of waiting untl 2011 based on advice that the market is going to suck so bad next year in academia due to budget cuts in education.

Finding and being able to afford the perfect house and area. I want what everyone wants. Not a long commute, grass space, still well inside London, and all for a reasonable price!
