David Tutera Engagement rings at Sears!

rbngirl~ I haven't seen that one. But, if I can find it OnDemand I'll check it out. I'm sure it feels different when you're personally involved with the couple, but I think the whole talking-to-the-camera-behind-your-back is part of the show. There was an episode of extreme home makeover done not far from here and everyone said how long it took to do anything because of the camera crew. I can only imagine how that went for a wedding!

I had to look at the rings just 'to see' and wow... ...they are bad...really, really bad...maybe these aren't really 'designed' by him (or anyone) and he just 'sold' his name for this line of rings? I can't imagine anyone actually designing these rings...on purpose. :knockout:

Pardon me - I just threw up in my mouth.

They look like sterling silver covered in frozen spit. Why didn't they even attempt to make the ad photos look nice?

There's nothin' wrong with having a smallish e-ring budget, but as Sig pointed out, consumers can get a great, similarly-sized diamond for the same price (if not less!)

Eeeeeeew! I can't believe how the center stone in one of the rings is so obviously/disgustingly off center. Gross!

I just keep thinking how he enjoys "upgrading" the brides on his show, and now he uses his own things...like his line of dresses. My guess is a lot of brides will be sporting these rings. Blah.
