I sent an email requesting a quote a few days ago to the email he has listed on his FB page banner. How long does he take to reply? How long do you think I should give it before I call?

It usually takes a while for him to email back. Last time I waited two weeks and emailed again (got an immediate response that time).

I've never called but several people here have and that is the fastest way to get a quote.

Last time I emailed, it took about ten days to get a reply. I had all but given up and then he replied and was very responsive thereafter for my project. Good luck!

I did a project with him back in April, got a reply within hours and he responded to every subsequent email very promptly. Contacted him again about a month ago, never got a response! I don't know if the project was too small, or he just missed it or what, but I went elsewhere, never followed up with him. You might want to give him a call now, a few days is long enough.
