David Atlas to the Rescue

I realize today how fortunate I am to live minutes away from David Atlas. Had the opportunity to sit down with him this evening to review my recent diamond purchase and wow! What a wealth of information.

His analysis was the exact thing I required to have total piece of mind and being able to see him analyze it in person was an experience in its self.

He walked through the grading of the stone, louped it, color graded it, microscoped it and really took his time explaining the ins and outs of the diamond. He also had amazing things to say about Debi Wexler and WhiteFlash saying they cut an amazing diamond.

It was really something else to see a master work, handle and analyze the stone. While giving some insight on the diamond trade and grading process. Also, recommended that when I have the dimaond set to request seeing it under microscope to verify the AGSL # before/after the setting.

Very good to know! I am supposed to go see him next week and was curious if I have to drop off or can watch the process.
