daussi and crisscut loose stones?

does anyone know if it is possible to get Daussi cushions or Crisscut diamonds loose or do you have to get them set in their respective designer settings?

I''d really like to see one of these in a simple solitaire (sholdt fremont is my favorite! http://www.pearlmansjewelers.com/jewelry-designers/sholdt-jewelry/rings/21ZZ1/7/ ) all of the daussi and crisscut settings seem to be elaborate halos and pave. anyone have any pictures? or real life pictures of these stones in general, maybe even idealscope images?!

Also, how do prices compare between these two branded stones?

you could try contacting David at diamonds by lauren for the Daussi cuts, I believe he can get them loose...

Another person you can contact is Laurie Tryon from International Diamond Center in Savannah, GA. (912) 354-4344. We worked with them with my Daussi setting, but my diamond isn''t a Daussi. She might be able to help you with your search and she''s awesome.

jane_e: The Daussi stones are more widely varied in shape, depth and overall appearance, as compared to Crisscut, from my experience. For example, Daussi cushions come in square or rectangular shapes.
My feeling is that the Daussi stones are more competitively priced, in general.

Daussi stones are not often seen loose, but a good dealer should be able to offer you a selection.
