Yep, it''s me again. My next diamond adventure. I starting perseverating on how my 3ctw eternity isn''t sitting flush with my wedding set. I missed the simplicity of the eternity alone, and shrinkage set in, and they weren''t flush...boy, I am a mess, aren''t I?

So, I am taking that 1.2 pear in the ering and trading it for a pair of rb 2.2 ctw earrings...and....I am having them set in lever back drops.

They will be ready next week. My question is, do you think about the "not studs this time" idea? I love studs , but I am in a romantic mood (think Jane Seymour, hair up, flirtatious, even naughty, earrings..) to try something that hangs down. Do you think that 1 ct per ear is going to look "too much?" Does anyone have anything similar? I would really love to see a picture if anyone has or knows of one. jjulia

I really do like studs, but earrings that dangle a bit are my favorite! It doesn''t sound like too much to me, they sound perfect!

Thank you for the reassurance. I don''t want to goof this up!

A well-know fashion designer once told me that drop earrings make everyone look more youthful. The movement, spirit, joie de vivre etc etc....

For what that''s worth ..

I really like drop earrings (add diamond melee down the post more the better

) and agree with Deco about making you look and feel younger.

Yeah, I figure a little bounce in my step wouldn''t hurt!

I really like drop earrings too.

And I am thinking they might be actually easier to take on and off, for cleaning. You know?

What color is your hair?

My hair? Oh my. Well, right now I''d say it was trying to be "red." It is the product of repeated foil highlights with some growing in of brown and eh hem, gray. Add in a body wave. Yeah, let''s call it brown/red/orange/copper/kinda thing goin on. Why do you ask?

Tacori E-ring and I saw a lady today who had a gorgeous pear pendant, too!

because I think the drop diamond will really pop on darker hair (vs. a light blonde) so I was just curious. Didn''t mean to throw you off!

I think a pair of pear drop earrings would be fab! Here is a picture I found online of an awesome pair for everyday wear.

Oh, that did cross my mind! I thought of taking the pear and making it a pendant. But-I already have something I wear every day that I am sentimental about. I love pears. Heck, I love everything.

here''s another pic. They are so delicate, one carat a piece would be stunning.

It was amazing! I want one just like it!

I absolutely love leverback or dangle diamond earrings....and I''m glad to see others feel that way two! To me they can be worn anywhere, anytime, but have just a touch more sparkle and ''sexiness'' than studs.

In fact, I wonder why we don''t see them more often around here????

Oh, let me tell you- my 18 yr old daughter had dark hair and Irish skin and she is strikingly beautiful (from my grandmother)-and looks great in drops. My hair is, well, interesting. A little sun and poof, I''m red.

Here''s another idea, a little bit more glam.

Ooooooooo, aaaaaaaaaaaaah. Just beautiful. The thing is, I am giving up the pear ering to get the earrings and I figured I''d better play it safe and go round--since I will not have anything else pear at this point to go with them. Does that make sense? And-my eternity band is all rounds. I do like the feminine look of a tear drop, though. Well, I am not going to let my mind wander. The rb''s are ordered and I am going to go to bed tonight dreaming of my sashaying (is that a real word?) earrings... I love looking at pictures--the possibilities...

Oh, ok. In that case...pretend the earrings contain rounds instead, LOL.

If dh gave me something like that, I would not turn it down!

I really do wonder why we don''t see more drop earrings here?? They are gorgeous and very pretty with long hair or when wearing one''s hair up. I wear a lot of drop earrings...not diamonds though, that will have to wait a while.

Honestly, I haven''t done a search with those words. It is curious why they aren''t seen more, isn''t it? I have a pair of tourmaline (I believe) drops that catch the light so nicely and I can take them off and put on so easily. As a matter of fact, most of my play earrings are lever back, which I like because they make my neck look longer (what, me vain?).
